I have been invited by EMCOMPASS HK to conduct a workshop for general stress and anxiety relief.
Encompass HK is a social enterprise that offers training and consultancy services to educate and support organisations to be more diversified and inclusive. Including meeting global standards e.g. sustainable development goals (SDGS).
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), otherwise known as the Global Goals, are a universal call to action to end poverty, protect the planet and ensure that all people enjoy peace and prosperity.
WHY IS MUSIC THERAPY RELATED TO SDGS?
Mankind exists in a society. It is important for us to understand and to reflect on our actions in order to enjoy peace and prosperity. Our actions are emotionally driven and we might hurt one another by accident along the way (or some would do it deliberately for personal benefits! )
In this busy world we are living in we rarely have the chance to reflect and organise our thoughts and emotions. Sometimes losses and anger have not been dealt with properly. Then, on top of that we have to deal with everyday stress. Hence negativity and anxiety builds up. If not careful, this jar will tip and you will find yourself in a very messy situation!
